There's a sparkling pool and a braai on the premises, and everything a couple needs within an easy stroll: sand in one direction, a coffee or a carton of milk in the other. Uncomplicated, well-placed, and made for two.

It’s okay, but some elbow grease could make it great
The location of this apartment is absolutely wonderful. It really felt like I was away. The area is very tranquil it gives off a very Greek feel I LOVED it! Inside it’s pretty spacious with a stunning view. I rated it a three because there are some much needed upgrades that would make it perfect 1)The key story is an inconvenience, why I am I driving to another location 10 minutes away? I didn’t like that at all. 2) The furniture is VERY uncomfortable, a new couch and bed is a MUST it’s bad. 3) Please invest in scents for the apartment, things like diffusers with subtle but pleasant scents would help mask the smell of mould. It is in a damp place so there’s only so much that can be done about the mould. 4) Please change the duvet liner it’s in a terrible state of disrepair.

We also really appreciate your honest feedback on what would make the stay perfect, and we've taken every point seriously:
The key collection: we completely understand the extra drive was inconvenient. The complex gate runs on an app that isn't always reliable, so we keep the keys at a secure location to make sure guests are never locked out or left stranded at the gate. We'll make sure this is explained clearly before arrival so it doesn't come as a surprise.
The furniture: your comments on the couch and bed have been passed on to the owner as a priority for upgrading.
The damp and scent: being so close to the sea, humidity is a constant challenge, but we're stepping up ventilation and moisture control and will add subtle fragrance to keep the apartment feeling fresh.
The duvet cover: thank you for pointing this out. It is being replaced, and we've added linen condition to our cleaning checklist so it doesn't slip through again.
